This three-day, two-night guided adventure will boost your confidence in your van's capabilities as you explore the hidden gems of California’s Lost Coast. From breathtaking ocean views to towering coastal redwoods, this journey offers scenic and historic destinations along both paved and unpaved roads—perfect for beginners.

Starting Friday just north of Fort Bragg, CA, we’ll make our way up the coast along a mix of pavement and dirt trails, diving straight into one of the most iconic stretches of The Lost Coast. We’ll tackle light recovery training against a backdrop of stunning ocean views before setting up a boondock-style beach camp for the night. Saturday brings a full day of off-road exploration, weaving through rugged mountain passes and coastal vistas as we continue north to the legendary Shelter Cove, where we’ll settle in for the night right along the water’s edge.. Sunday we’ll take our time soaking in the beauty of the northern Lost Coast on a scenic drive to Ferndale, CA, wrapping up the adventure by early afternoon.
